Is there an avid sports enthusiast on your gift list? Do they actively participate in a sport or do they watch on the sidelines? Your choice of a gift should be based on these questions.

A word of caution: Do not purchase a gun for a hunter or golf clubs for a golfer unless you know exactly what they want. Hunters are particular about the type of guns they use and golfers need clubs that are sized appropriately.

Magazine subscriptions for their favorite sport are always a good gift. They can keep up with their favorite teams and players during the off-season.

There are as many gift varieties for the sports enthusiasts as there sports. Be sure you know and understand what your recipient likes and does not like before you buy. If you are unsure or do not understand the sport, do not buy the item. Choose something general but with care and thoughtfulness.
